Czech Climate Opinion Map 2021

The data was collected between December 2020 and February 2021 as a part of the project Czech Climate 2021 (Krajhanzl et al., 2021) using a representative sample of respondents recruited by the research agency Nielsen Admosphere. From the total sample, 2 513 respondents completed the questionnaire online while 249 respondents were approached in-person to complete the survey using a tablet. Representativity of the sample was achieved on the dimensions of gender, age, education, city and region size, income, and the frequency of Internet use. The representativeness was also achieved in a combination of gender-age, gender-education, gender-frequency of Internet use, gender-city, gender-region size, age-education, age-frequency of Internet use, age-city size, education-city, education-region size, and city-region size. Key variables were also weighted after the data were collected to precisely match the Czech population. The interactive map was developed in R Studio v4.1.1 (R Studio Team, 2021) ) using the packages Shiny v1.7.1 and Leaflet v2.0.4.1
